RECARO cooperates with ESL and launches special promotion
We are pleased to announce today that we are cooperating with the ESL and are an official partner for the ESL Championship. The focus will initially be on the classic Warcraft III. The ESL is the worldwide organizer of many national and international leagues and tournaments as well as one of the most renowned organizers of eSports tournaments.
Through our cooperation with the ESL, we are further expanding our commitment to eSports and ensuring the placement of our premium products in the most important eSports leagues and events in German-speaking countries.
In addition to the ESL Championship, RECARO is also a partner of the GSA League 2020 in Rainbow Six Siege, and the Prime League for League of Legends. We are thus represented in the most important German-speaking leagues as a supplier, and so live up to our claim as a partner for eSports.
Lars Schilling, Managing Director of Sales & Marketing at Recaro Gaming had this to say about the cooperation with ESL: “For us, our cooperation with ESL was not only a big step, but also an important one. Warcraft III: An exceptional eSports title
In contrast to many eSport titles, Warcraft III is a real exception. The focus here is on individual players and their skills, rather than several players competing as a team.
The idea behind the game is quite simple. Players collect resources, build one or more bases as quickly as possible, and muster a powerful army to defeat the enemy.
In the ESL Championship for Warcraft III, twelve players usually compete against each other in two groups over a period of ten matchdays. The group phase is played on a best-of-three basis.
Once the matchdays are completed, the top two players in each of the final group tables will go directly to the finals. Those finishing second and third will have to duel it out in a best-of-five for a place in the finals. The final four will compete at Dreamhack in Leipzig for prize money of over €8,000.

Finals? Only with RECARO!
RECARO is working closely with ESL for the upcoming Season 2, supporting hosts, casters, and players alike. The hosts will be seated on RECARO seats on matchdays and also during the pre-show.
The finals will take place, as things stand, at Dreamhack with not only the crème de la crème of the Warcraft III scene enjoying RECARO seats, but also the teams competing in Dota2 and CS:GO.
RECARO Gaming is therefore the supplier of the entire ESL Championship Finals in Season 2, ensuring that all players, even those outside the Warcraft III cosmos, can perform at their best for the finals.

In all likelihood, the games will be broadcast every Tuesday and Wednesday (towards the end of September) from 7 pm on Twitch.
