eSport at RECARO: This is gaming without limits

RECARO eGaming supports eSports, and we are not just saying that. At the beginning of the week, we introduced you to the eSports Federation of Germany (ESBD), of which we are a supporting member. But we are also directly involved in eSports, for example, with the pros from No Limit Gaming.

Today, we would like to introduce you to the Austrian organization for which we are the main sponsor. The RECARO Exo is a key factor in the performance of the eSports team from Austria in Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).

The foundation of No Limit Gaming (NoLimit.gg)

In Vienna (Austria), Steffen Sontheimer, Stefan Schillhabel, and Fedor Holz joined forces with a group of internationally successful poker players and founded No Limit Gaming GmbH. The goal was to transfer the experience gained to the field of eSports, focusing primarily on performance, professionalism, analysis, and teamwork.

The newly signed CS:GO team will be provided with a 1600 sq ft house in Vienna, along with several coaches and two analysts. A few weeks ago, NoLimit.gg was the first Austrian team ever to advance to the European ESEA Advanced Division, in which the newly formed team is now competing.

The team has already made a name for itself at local tournaments, securing second place in Vienna at the CS:GO tournament at the Electronic Sports Festival (ESF LAN). In the coming year, a complete full-time team will be hired in order to be able to perfectly implement the eSports concept.

Training, nutrition and team house

At the No Limit Gaming team house, six work and training stations are available to the eSportsmen. In addition, there is an analysis corner, sports equipment, and a kitchen. Even sleeping and living facilities are provided for the players. The CS:GO team gathers regularly for "boot camps" lasting several weeks on site in Austria.

However, the eSports professionals have not simply been left to their own devices in the team house. Experts have been hired to provide them with guidance. The performance coach Simon Welsch takes care of the players' health, physical fitness, nutrition, relaxation, and the right mindset. Even when the players are not in the team house, weekly calls are held, during which the performance coach provides advice.

On-site meetings involve sports, but the gamers also learn how to eat and cook healthily. In addition, a sports psychologist has been on site several times, and has already coached Rapid Wien's professional soccer players in the past.

Emotional stability and proper sleep cycles are further cornerstones for the team's success. Team-building, analysis, direct contact, and communication with each other are reinforced in the team house. Training and living areas are separate from each other, and two floors are available to the eSports professionals of No Limit Gaming in Austria. Training takes place on the RECARO Exo, our gaming seat, in order to ensure the highest level of concentration and performance for hours on end.

Professional eSports is much more than just playing together once a week. If you want to be successful and compete at the highest level, you also have to set the highest standards in terms of psychology, nutrition, and analysis, and put them into practice.
