Declaration of warranty

The products of RECARO Gaming GmbH & Co. KG are subject to the statutory warranty law.  

In addition, grants RECARO Gaming private buyers who, as end customers and consumers, purchase a new seat in the RECARO Gaming Webshop (www.recaro-gaming.com) and do not use it commercially, the warranty described in more detail below. The statutory warranty right is not limited by the additional warranty. 

The warranty is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase and applies to newly purchased seats and includes: 

• their freedom from defects at the time of purchase 
• Their functionality 
• Freedom from material or production defects  

The warranty begins on the day of purchase of the new product. 

The rights under this warranty are not transferable to third parties. 

Prerequisite for the granting of warranty services: 

• Warranty claims must be made with the purchase receipt/delivery bill or invoice receipt and stating the model name and LE number / HU number after the defect has been identified. 
• The circumstances of the warranty claim (detailed description of the defect incl. picture or, if applicable, video of the defect) must be documented in detail and sent to RECARO .

Warranty period and services 

If a defect occurs within the aforementioned warranty period that constitutes a warranty case, we will provide the purchaser with one of the following services at our discretion under this warranty:  

*From date of purchase 

If the inspection by RECARO Gaming that there is no case of warranty, the customer can RECARO Gaming may charge a service fee of 100 € for the inspection and processing. RECARO reserves the right to charge repair costs in case of unauthorized repairs.  

The customer may not return the goods without our express consent to RECARO Gaming return the goods. The collection will be RECARO Gaming commissioned. RECARO Gaming reserves the right to charge the customer in full for futile journeys.  

The warranty period is not interrupted, suspended or extended, even if a warranty service is provided. 

Excluded from the warranty are: 

a. Changes and damage to the product resulting from improper assembly, use other than for the intended purpose, improper handling or failure to observe the care instructions. 

b. Damage caused by unfavorable site conditions and environmental influences (such as wetness, flying sparks, dusts, extreme climatic conditions, bases and acids, animals, etc.) 

c. Damage resulting from careless handling (e.g. impact and tear damage).  

d. Parts and materials that are subject to normal wear and tear, such as rollers, cover fabrics, mechanical components. 

e. Damage caused by maintenance or repair work or other interventions by the customer himself or by third parties who were not authorized by RECARO Gaming authorized accordingly. 

f. Natural materials leather. Leather is a natural product. Scars, cracks and mast wrinkles are the certificate of authenticity for this material.  

g. Theft of the product 

h. Damage that does not result in impairment of the functions
